(KNOX) – The Roughrider baseball team needs a win today to stay alive.
Red River fill face Fargo North in an elimination game in the Eastern Dakota Conference baseball tournament Friday morning at Jack Williams Stadium in Fargo.
Red River was beaten by West Fargo Sheyenne 5-2 on the opening day of the tournament Tuesday at Kraft Field and Oxford Sports Complex. Red River was the four seed, Sheyenne was the five seed.
The tournament continues on Saturday. Should Red River win, they would face the loser of a matchup of Fargo South and West Fargo in a state qualifier Saturday.
