(UND Sports Information) – GRAND FORKS, N.D. – University of North Dakota head hockey coach Dane Jackson announced that former Providence forward Hudson Malinoski (pronounced MAL-in-AH-ski) has signed an agreement to play his final season of eligibility at North Dakota during the 2026-27 season.

“Hudson is a great addition to our team,” said Jackson. “Having a strong center who can play in all situations and also find the back of the net is hard to find, and Hudson fits that role perfectly.”
Malinoski is coming off a strong trio of seasons with Providence, where he scored 31 goals and dished out 25 assists for 56 points in 106 career games. He missed only two games during his tenure with the Friars while also winning over 53.5% of his draws over his final two seasons.
The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, native finished top-3 in goals for Providence during his three seasons and is coming off back-to-back 11-goal campaigns. He has also had success against NCHC opponents over his career, potting goals against Colorado College (6), Arizona State (2), Denver, North Dakota and St. Thomas.
Malinoski will be introduced to the media at a later date.
