(KNOX) –The North Dakota Senate has passed a bill banning those under 21-years-old from being able to sell and possess natural kratom. The bill passed in a 46-0 vote. This bill creates licensing and labeling requirements, as well as criminal penalties.
The Senate also added an amendment that bans synthetic kratom. The legislation will now go to the House.
