(KNOX) -A North Dakota Senate bill that would ban kratom has failed in the North Dakota House. The bill passed in the Senate and was moved onto the house. It was defeated in the House 47-46.

Senate Bill 2408 would have criminalized both synthetic and natural kratom.

The House will vote on a bill to regulate natural kratom, and that same bill doesn’t address synthetic kratom. It does prevent those who are under 21-years-old from buying the drug.
