East Grand Forks defeated Warroad 6-3 Tuesday night, avenging a loss in overtime in Thief River Falls before Christmas.
Brock Schultz recorded a four-point night, two power play goals and two assists, including helpers on the go-ahead goal and an insurance goal in the third period. Jace Fore scored the eventual game-winner at 7:55 of the third, with Tucker Lovejoy scoring an insurance goal at 12:14.
Jace Van Eps broke a 2-2 tie for the first lead of the third period, and Judd Pesch finished the game with an empty-net goal.
