(KNOX) – A 20-year-old Grand Forks man is facing 11 felony charges after investigators found more than 100 images and videos of child sexual abuse material on his phone. The material includes children as young as infants.
Keaton Jermaine Hendricks was charged in Grand Forks County District Court. He faces five counts of having child sexual abuse material, five counts of having of child sexual abuse material involving children under 12, and one count of promoting and directing a sexual performance by a minor.
A probable cause affidavit says the investigation began in February 2025 when Snapchat reported three files of the material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the case was then forwarded to the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Five additional cyber tips were reported through NCMEC from Discord, Instagram, and Google.
Investigators subpoenaed AT&T for a phone number linked to the Snapchat account. AT&T confirmed the subscriber was Hendricks. A search warrant was executed at his residence on July 8. Hendricks eventually admitted to purchasing child sexual abuse material online and saving it to his phone. Hendricks also admitted to soliciting nude images and videos from a girl he believed was 14 years old at the time.
The Grand Forks County State’s Attorney’s Office is prosecuting this case.
