(KNOX) – North Dakota Highway Patrol troopers responded to a large debris spill on Saturday on I-94 East. The spill happened in a construction zone between Veterans Boulevard and 45th Street in West Fargo/Fargo.
A witness reported that a semi pulling an open trailer suddenly stopped causing 12 to 15 bison carcasses and animal remains to spill across the only open eastbound lane.
The debris blocked the lane. Traffic was stopped several times, as crews cleared the roadway and cleaned up the site.
