
(KNOX) – The Grand Forks Royals swept a road doubleheader in Williston Tuesday night, and remain on the road Wednesday.
The Royals took wins of 7-2 and 12-2 from the Keybirds Tuesday. Williston jumped ahead in game one with runs in the bottom of the first, but the Royals would not surrender another run until the fifth inning of game two.
Grand Forks rallied in game one, scoring three in the top of the sixth to stretch a one-run lead. They scored eight runs in the first two innings of game two to win in a rout.
The Royals head to Dickinson to complete a road swing in the west Wednesday.
