(KNOX) – Most Grand Forks city offices will be closed Thursday, January 1st for New Year’s Day. Regular city business will not be conducted. However, emergency police, fire and communications services will continue to operate as scheduled.
Recycling will not be picked up on Thursday. Recycling will be pushed back one day for the rest of the week. Thursday’s recycling will be picked up on Friday and Friday’s recycling will be picked up on Saturday.
The Cities Area Transit (CAT) including City Bus, Night Bus, Senior Rider Bus and Dial-A-Ride will not operate on Thursday, January 1st. CAT will resume its regular schedule on Friday, January 2nd.
City offices will re-open for business on Friday, January 2nd.
