(KNOX) – The planned opening of a cannabis dispensary in East Grand Forks (MN) has prompted a warning from Grand Forks police. The White Earth Nation is behind the shop at 926 Central Avenue NE.
In a social media post the GFPD says even though you may be able to buy THC products or any of their derivatives in Minnesota they are not allowed in North Dakota.
The statement goes on to say that North Dakota does have a medical marijuana program but you need a prescription from a doctor. North Dakota had 9,934 registered qualifying medical marijuana patients as of June 30, 2024.
In closing the GFPD says we apologize for killing your high, but we want you to know the rules.
