(KNOX) – A series of text messages sent the morning of election day claimed that Julie Fedorchak had dropped out of the U.S. House race.
Fedorchak denounced the messages as “a desperate tactic to influence and discourage voters.”
She told an afternoon press conference that she will file a complaint with the Federal Election Commission, saying “This is at minimum… election fraud.”
The Republican says she’s not sure if she will accept or contest vote totals if she doesn’t win the primary.
