A Montana man has died, seven days after being injured in a two-vehicle crash on I-94 west of Mandan (ND).
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 46-year-old Scott Walden of Missoula died last Friday.
Troopers say an eastbound Freightliner pulling double-box trailers lost control in icy conditions, then crossed the median, and entered the westbound lanes, where it ran into Walden’s GMC Sierra, which was pulling a trailer loaded with a pickup.
Authorities say a 49-year-old female passenger in the Sierra sustained serious injuries.
The driver of the Freightliner suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while a passenger was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
