(KNOX) – Sacred Heart Eagles volleyball placed third iu a tournament this past weekend, and rode an impressive streak to get there.
The Minnesota Showcase in Burnsville saw Sacred heart bring home a third-place trophy in the silver division, finishing 3-2 overall.
Sacred Heart suffered their first loss of the season Saturday, and, in doing so, ended a hot streak of 15 straight wins to start the season.
More impressively, the Eagles had not lost a single set in a match since September third, when they defeated Hillcrest Academy 3-1. They had won at least 33 straight sets before their loss to Minneota Saturday morning.
Sacred Heart plays Climax-Fisher tonight at the A. I. Merth Gymnasium.
