(KNOX) – A crash has been reported on I-29 South near Reynolds.
There was a striping crew working with wet paint signs on. They were working on the outside lane, when a member of the striping crew was driving a vehicle and they were hit by a tractor trailer. The striping crew vehicle was rear-ended.
The striping crew driver was hurt and currently has minor injuries. The person driving the tractor was not hurt.
North Dakota Highway Patrol Lieutenant Ryan Panasuk says an invesitgation into the incident is in its preliminary stages.
Both lanes on I-29 South were closed down, but one of the lanes is now open, and the second lane could open up within the next 30 minutes.
Traffic is currently backed up by at least three miles.
