(KNOX) –A 45-year-old Jamestown man died last Thursday as his SUV crossed the median on I-94 and struck a semi-truck six miles west of Jamestown.
Joshua White was driving a 2003 Ford Expedition when he hit a 2017 Freightliner truck with a dump trailer. White’s truck caught fire, while the woman driving the Freightliner stopped on the north shoulder of I-94 west.
White was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. The driver of the Freightliner, 40-year-old Melissa Martinez of Grand Forks, was wearing a seatbelt and was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
