(KNOX) – A man’s body that was recovered from Movil Lake in Beltrami County, has been identified.
Beltrami County Sheriff Deputies responded to a report last Friday and found 23-year-old Matthew James Rayta’s body in about 25 feet of water.
Crews couldn’t recover the body right away because they had to clear the lake due to severe thunderstorms. The Lakes Area Dive Team later removed Rayta’s body and it was taken for an autopsy.
Rayta was from Maple Grove, Minnesota. The case remains under investigation, and no additional information has been released.
