(KNOX) – A Park River woman is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say she punched a man, grabbed his pocket knife, threatened to kill another person, and then kicked two deputies when they tried to arrest her.
44-year-old Andrea Lynn Sluke punched a man in the face and then grabbed his pocket knife. The man told deputies he feared for his life and pushed Sluke against a car before throwing her to the ground. Sluke then called 911.
During the altercation, a second person hid inside a nearby garage. Sluke threatened to kill that person and then herself.
Deputies later went to a hospital to arrest Sluke. When a deputy placed her in handcuffs, Sluke kicked the deputy in the chest and also kicked a second deputy. Sluke then slipped one hand out of the handcuffs and struck both officers.
Sluke faces charges of terrorizing, assault on a peace officer, preventing arrest on a felony charge, and a misdemeanor charge of simple assault. She is due for her first court appearance on June 29.
