(KNOX) –Oxford Reality will donate $250,000 over a five year period to help preserve the Grand Forks Intramural Sports Program.
Oxford will donate $50,000 a year for five years. The school district was going to eliminate the program as part of its budget realignment project.
The district had a four million dollar deficit from this past school year, and intramural sports was one of 52 items that was potentially going to get cut. The program was eventually a part of a realignment plan that was approved in February.
