By Ryan Cunningham May 19, 2026 | 8:18 AM

(KNOX) – Minor improvements to three Grand Forks schools were discussed by the Finance Committee of the Grand Forks School Board Monday.

Upgrading the air conditioning system at Wilder Elementary was a part of the conversation.  Superintendent Dr. Terry Brenner explained the building still has some classrooms on stand-alone units.  Teachers have to empty water from them on a regular basis.

A handicapped accessible ramp at Red River and interior painting at Central, with the painting projects costing just over $60,000 were also on the agenda.

The Red River and Central projects would be funded by the district’s building fund.
