(KNOX) – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said that a 33-year-old man was killed after a snowmobile crash in Gentilly Township over the weekend.
Deputies responded to the crash, Cody Teie of Thief River Falls, was pronounced dead at the scene. Crookston Area Ambulance responded, they and deputies initiated life-saving measures.
Teie was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Authorities said that alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
Assisting the Polk County Sheriff’s Office was the Minnesota State Patrol and the University of North Dakota Forensic Pathology.
