(KNOX/KVRR/KFGO) – The 22-year-old Wahpeton man facing multiple felony charges after a head-on crash near Kindred has been identified.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Zachary Busse was driving a pickup east on Highway 46 last Sunday, when he illegally passed another vehicle in a no-passing zone and slammed into an oncoming SUV.
28-year-old Cassandra Prince of Fargo was driving an SUV and was airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo with serious injuries.
An ambulance also took Busse and his 19-year-old passenger to Sanford in Fargo.
Troopers say Busse faces charges including drugged driving, reckless endangerment, and possession of fentanyl.
