(KNOX) –The Grand Forks Police Department is telling parents about how easy it is for children to connect with random strangers on Snapchat.
Officials reported an incident that involved a child who added a person. The child was sent a message that asked if the stranger knew them. The child was in a video call with a man who started to rub his nipples, while also trying to show his genitals.
A parent saw the child on the video call and ended it.
Authorities also say no messages were found that suggested the man knew that he was talking to a child.
