(KNOX/KFGO/KVRR) –A former bookkeeper at the F-M Forklift has pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of bank fraud. He has been ordered to repay nearly $700,000.
31-year-old Austen Strom entered the plea Monday. Four other counts were dismissed with the plea deal and he has been sentenced to 15 months in prison.
Strom was forging checks to himself in March 2024 in order to pay off gambling debts and he was indicted in April 2025.
