FEMA Awards Two North Dakota Co-Ops More Than $680,000

(KNOX) –The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is providing more than $680,000 in funding to two North Dakota co-ops. FEMA says the money will go to support local communities, tribes and territories , in order for them to protect infrastructure from future storms.

$348,000 will be given to Northern Plains Electric Cooperative and over $334,000 will be provided to Nodak Electric Cooperative. The funding is in response to storms that happened in June 2025.
