(KNOX) – The East Grand Forks City Council approved an annual application and contract with the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The contract will be for fiscal year 2027. MnDOT is providing 85% in state funds with a 15% local match. This will also allow the city to use 75% of its federal dollars for operations.
The maximum amount the city can request is roughly $825,000. Fixed route services are estimated to cost $557,000, and Dial-A-Ride services are estimated to cost a little more than $214,000.
