(KNOX) – A former Crookston teacher and coach is has been charged with allegedly sending sexual images to a 16-year-old student on Snapchat. 26-year-old Sutton Junkermeier was arrested last Friday after authorities executed a search warrant at his home near Lake Lillian. Investigators say the student saved the images and showed them to their mother, who contacted law enforcement.
Junkermeier is currently a teacher and cross-country coach in the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City School District. He now faces multiple harassment charges, including felony counts involving sexual intent.
He is due in court in September 15.
