(KNOX) –Two women have died from a head-on crash in Northern Minnesota. The Minnesota State Patrol says two vehicles collided on Highway 169 just south of Grand Rapids on Sunday at around 12:30 p.m.
A 24-year-old from Luck, Wisconsin and 83-year-old from Grand Rapids both died at the scene.
Authorities say both women were wearing seat belts, and alcohol is not believed to have been involved. The crash remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
