Minnesota Students In Agriculture and 4-H Programs Can Apply For Scholarship Opportunities

(KNOX) – Minnesota students involved in agriculture and 4-H programs have the ability to apply for scholarship opportunities this summer.

The Minnesota State Fair will award up to 22 scholarships worth $1,000 each to rural students and those enrolled in agricultural programs, as well as two $2,000 scholarships for people pursuing skilled trades. The Minnesota Livestock Breeders’ Association, working with Minnesota 4-H, will award at least $72,500 in scholarships to 4-H members pursuing college degrees.

Applications for the scholarships offered from the Minnesota State Fair are due July 15. Applications for the scholarships offered by the Minnesota Livestock Breeders’ Association are due August 1. 

The two programs have awarded more than $1.5 million combined to Minnesota students over the years.
