(KNOX) – Warroad and East Grand Forks both scored wins in the quarterfinals of the Section 8A hockey tournament Tuesday night.
East Grand Forks topped Red Lake Falls 8-2, while Warroad smacked Park Rapids 16-0 Tuesday night. Warroad is the top seed in the tournament, while East Grand Forks is seeded second.
Detroit Lakes will be East Grand Forks next opponent. The Lakers stopped
Bagley-Fosston 5-1 Tuesday.
Thief River Falls defeated Crookston 6-4, and will face Warroad in the semifinals. The tournament moves to Thief River Falls Saturday.
