(KNOX) – After having the game postponed due to extreme cold Friday, the Greenwave will face Hibbing-Chisolm, one of Minnesota’s top-ranked teams, Monday afternoon.
Hibbing has gone back and forth with Hermantown for the state’s top ranking in Class “A” hockey all season. Hibbing was the top seed in last year’s state tournament, when East Grand Forks rallied from down three, scoring four goals in a 2:45 span, en route to a 7-5 win and an eventual state title.
East Grand Forks is now 9-8-1 after winning seven of their last eight games. Hibbing is 15-2-2, and defeated Warroad 4-2 Saturday.
Game time is scheduled for 3:30 PM Monday afternoon, and will be seen on KNOX TV on YouTube and KNOXRadio.com
