(KNOX) – A 30-year-old Grand Forks man has been sentenced to 20 years for the rape of a then 14-year-old girl, while standing accused of sexual misconduct with a different 14-year-old girl in a different case.
Marshawn Howard Wooten pleaded guilty to 20 years, with the caveat that any time he receives on the other charge will be served consecutively to this charge.
Wooten pleaded guilty to raping a 14-year-old girl in May, while he was 29 years old. He stands accused of 12 charges with another girl, including gross sexual imposition, luring minors by computer, possession of certain materials prohibited and misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
