Grand Forks Red River got a hat-trick from Grant Gardner and a pair of goals from Rylan Bydal, and fought off a challenge from Devils Lake in a 5-3 win Tuesday night.
The Roughriders advance to the EDC tournament semifinals with the win to face Fargo South-Shanley, who edged West Fargo 3-2.
Central stopped Fargo Davies 5-2, and will face Fargo North Friday, after the Spartans shut out West Fargo Sheyenne 4-0.
