ND Collections Still Ahead of Forecast

North Dakota’s revenue collections continue to outpace the budget forecast.

Office of Management and Budget officials recently briefed the Legislature’s Budget Section on the latest numbers.  Four months into the biennium it appears tax collections are up around 10% – or some $130 million dollars.  The numbers reflect higher sales and corporate tax collections.

OMB Director Susan Sisk says the state is seeing increases in all sectors – and it appears the state’s economy is firing on all cylinders.
