(KNOX) – The Upper Midwest Law Center has filed a civil rights complaint against 16 Minnesota school districts who they say are violating Title IX. They claim these violations are for allowing transgender students to participate in girls sports and use facilities that align with how they identify their gender. They are asking the U.S. Department of Education to investigate as they also claim some districts allow students to change their names and pronouns without their parents knowing about it. The law center is pursuing this action against both the districts and the Minnesota State High School League. One of the districts included is Moorhead Public Schools.
