West Fargo Police say an officer who had a heart attack on Sunday was flown to a medical center in Omaha on Sunday afternoon.
The P-D says Officer Tim Brown is receiving specialized care at Nebraska Medical Center.
Police say, according to Brown’s medical team, he remains on a ventilator and heart bypass machine … and is in critical condition.
Brown has been exhibiting positive signs since arriving in Omaha, including opening his eyes, but officials say there is still the potential for setbacks.
Brown suffered a heart attack Sunday morning while booking two women into jail. He was stabilized at a local hospital and transported to Omaha.
A GoFundMe page has been set up fort Brown, his wife and two young children.

A West Fargo police officer is being treated in intensive care after suffering a heart attack while booking two women into jail.
Officer Tim Brown collapsed shortly after arriving at the Cass County Jail Sunday morning.
Sheriff’s office staff began life-saving measures with CPR and a defibrillator and called 911.
Brown was later transported to a local hospital. The two women were arrested on felony warrants for aggravated assault.
Police say one of the women resisted arrest and had to be physically moved and placed into the squad car by Brown.
Brown began his job with West Fargo police earlier this month.
