(KNOX) – East Grand Forks will begin the search for a new Parks & Recreational Director this week. The opening was created by the resignation of Jeremy King.
The city council last night (Tuesday) approved advertising the position for the next four to five weeks with a closing date of May 31st. The job carries a salary range of $89,575 to $123,748.
City Administrator Reid Huttunen says the earliest the Civil Service Board could begin candidate interviews is June 10th.

In related action the council agreed to hire Lacey Anderson as Library Director. Anderson is currently associated with the UND Learning Gardens. A total of nine people applied for the library position.
