(KNOX) – Project ULTRA… or UAS Logistics, Traffic, Research and Autonomy… has its first Department of Defense Task Order as part of the unmanned aircraft project at Grand Sky.
The Grand Forks County Commission approved the contract in a special meeting Tuesday morning.
The $2.5 million task order calls for Grand Sky to determine how UAS will deliver military cargo of more than 55 pounds across distances of 60 miles or more.
