ND & MN COVID-19

New cases have decreased, while active cases have increased in today’s (Thu) COVID-19 report from the North Dakota Health Department.

The state identified 139 new cases, with Burleigh County leading the way with 30. Grand Forks County added 12 cases.

North Dakota’s positivity rate dipped half-a-point to 2.08 percent.

There are 795 active cases (up 36 from Wednesday), with 75 in Grand Forks County.

The state reports one new death (ND toll: 1,430).

39 people are hospitalized with 5 in ICU.

92,266 North Dakotans have received at least one dose of vaccine.

Minnesota has 907 new cases and 24 new deaths (MN toll: 6.343).

320 are in hospitals, including 78 in intensive care.

599,218 Minnesotans have gotten at least one vaccine dose.
