A 78-year old man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a 58 year old woman in Alexandria (MN). Authorities say Angel Rua-Torres has been charged with felony murder in the second degree.
Police say the victim Desiree Frederick was found lying on the floor of a mobile home on November 24th. At the time Rua-Torres told investigators he came out of his room and saw a man running out of the trailer and flee in a convertible car.
An autopsy ruled the death a homicide caused by a sharp force injury to the back.
The investigation was a joint effort between the Alexandria P-D…Douglas County Sheriff’s Department…Minnesota BCA…and West Central Drug and violent Crime Task Force.
