A jury trial is set for February 6th in the case of a 27 year old Rochester (MN) man charged in Grand Forks County with luring minors by computer and solicitation of a victim under 15.
Daniel Henke was arrested in July at an Emerado (ND) restaurant. He is accused of sending text messages to a sheriff’s deputy who he believed to be a 15 year old female. The sexually explicit conversation led Henke to drive from Des Moines (IA) to Grand Forks where he rented a hotel room to meet the teen for sex.
The trial date was set during a dispositional conference on Thursday.
