Charges filed in fatal Minot accident

Minot police have identified the victim who died when a vehicle crashed into the Mouse River in Minot this past weekend. Authorities say 21-year old Tyler Rademacher died in the accident.

Charges have been filed against the 22 year old driver – Brendan Rademacher.

Minot police on Sunday received a report of a vehicle submerged in the river. When officers arrived on scene they found the driver in the water and brought him to shore. Brendan Rademacher informed first responders that Tyler remained trapped inside the vehicle. Rescue teams extracted the victim who was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

Brendan Rademacher was arrested and charged with DUI – Criminal Vehicular Homicide. A preliminary hearing in the case has been set for December 21st.
