Winter Storm impacting ND & NW MN

Periods of snow, heavy at times, continues to track into the Devils Lake Basin and northeast North Dakota. The storm system continues to evolve with another stronger wave still expected later today when the colder air starts to slide east expanding the area of travel impacts. No Travel is advised in NW North Dakota. Roads are becoming snow covered in the Devils Lake Basin and points north.

Winter Storm Warnings cover much of North Dakota except for portions of the Red River Valley and the southeast corner of the state.

A Winter Storm Warning has been  posted for the Grand Forks area until 7:00 a.m. on Friday.
