Grand Forks County will mail out letters to nine owners of 15 properties that are three years delinquent on their taxes.
The notice to evict is the final warning before the parcels are put up for sale. The amount owed for three years in back taxes… specials…interest…and for projected fourth year assessments totals more than $64,000 dollars.
Owners can still make good on the tax debt and not lose their property up until the sale date on November 21st.
Four of the lots are located in the city of Grand Forks.
