UNDAAF sets record endowment fund

The UND Alumni Association & Foundation (UNDAAF) saw its endowment fund grow to a record $380.4 million dollars during the fiscal year that ended on June 30 (2023).

In the annual State of the Alumni Association address Foundation CEO DeAnna Carlson Zink says the endowment is twice the size it was just 10 years ago.  “The five-year payout for the endowment is just shy of $50 million dollars.  That’s $50 million for scholarships…faculty positions…program support…and more.”

Zink says donations and commitments this past year totaled of $55.2 million dollars – the fifth-highest total ever.   The tally came from 8,160 donors – including 1,206 first-time donors.
