By Doug Barrett Aug 15, 2023 | 8:53 AM

They’re off….the annual UND faculty bus tour left Grand Forks on Monday for a trip around the state. This marks the 31st year for the event that gives new faculty and staff a crash course about North Dakota with a focus on agriculture, education, tourism, energy development, government and business.

The three day tour will focus on northern portions of the state including stops in Dunseith, Belcourt, Minot, Tioga, Watford City, Devils Lake, Grafton and Gilby.

UND Provost Eric Link and Vice President for Student Affairs Art Malloy will co-lead the tour. They will be joined by about 30 first or second-year UND faculty and administrators.
