
One driver was charged with driving under the influence following a head-on crash early Sunday about six miles south of Devils Lake.
The State Patrol says a northbound compact car driven by 35-year-old Pi Cu of Devils Lake entered the southbound lane of State Highway 57 and struck an SUV at about 2:20 AM.
Cu sustained serious injuries, while Ceu Bik, a 33-year-old male passenger from Devils Lake, apparently had minor injuries.
Cu was charged with DUI.
Troopers say the SUV driver, 18-year-oldĀ Rhiannon Houle of Devils Lake, suffered serious injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.
All occupants were transported to a Devils Lake hospital, then to Altru in Grand Forks.
