A two pick-up crash on Highway 59 on Sunday left one driver dead and the other driver and a passenger hospitalized. The Minnesota State Patrol says 86-year old Oliver Kimbro of Oklee (MN) collided with a vehicle driven by 66-year old Dale Brekke of Oklee. Kimbro suffered fatal injuries in the accident. He was not wearing a seat-belt. Brekke was transported to Sanford in Fargo while his passenger 57-year old Shelley Brekke was taken to Sanford in Thief River Falls. The H-P described the injuries as non-life threatening. Authorities say ice and snow may have contributed to the accident.
