Alerus Center offers reserved parking

By Pat Sweeney Jan 4, 2023 | 5:15 PM

The Alerus Center is now offering parking reservations for its events.

Guests can choose from among 1,700 spots in the lot, guaranteeing a spot prior to arrival.

Alerus Center officials say the ParkMobile app is partnering with venue management company O-V-G 360 to offer the service.

The app is available for both iPhone and Android devices and can also be accessed on a mobile web browser. Reservations can also be made on the Alerus Center site.

Parking prices will vary, but officials say the ParkMobile app will offer discounts on some events.

Alerus Center G-M Anna Rosburg says they hope the new program will reduce wait times and minimize stress for guests … and the parking crews.

ParkMobile, the #1 parking app in the U.S., is partnering with OVG 360 to offer parking reservations for events held at Alerus Center. The venue is home to University of North Dakota Football and regularly hosts concerts and events. Guests can now reserve parking at 1,700 spots in the  Alerus Center parking lot in advance of attending these events, guaranteeing a parking spot prior to arrival. Reservations can be made via the ParkMobile app or the reservation site, Alerus Center.com/Park.

“This is a new feature for our guests and we are confident that ParkMobile’s quick and easy-to-use platform will win them over,” said Alerus Center General Manager Anna Rosburg. “Now, guests are able to reserve a parking spot before visiting Alerus Center, which we hope will improve the guest experience by reducing wait times and minimizing stress for our guests and for our parking crews.”

Although the app has over 43 million users nationwide, this is ParkMobile’s first partnership in the state of North Dakota. The parking app is available for both iPhone and Android devices and can also be accessed on a mobile web browser.

Reserving a parking space is quick and easy. A user can go to the venue’s reservation site to view a full list of upcoming events with all the available parking options. To make a parking reservation, a user searches for the event venue in the ParkMobile app or website and selects the space they’d like to park in. After the user books the reservation, it can be redeemed at the location using a mobile pass in the ParkMobile app, Apple Wallet, or a printed permit.

“We are thrilled to officially be live in North Dakota as we strive to expand our reach across the country. We look forward to introducing residents to the ParkMobile app and specifically our reservations feature,” added David Hoyt, Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director for ParkMobile. “By offering ParkMobile reservations at Alerus Center, guests will be able to enter the facilities more seamlessly.”
