NDSU’s athletic department has received a $15 million dollar gift toward a new indoor practice facility.
It’s the largest one-time gift commitment in the department’s history.
The WE B Giving Foundation, a private family foundation established by Tom and Dawn Blattner, pledged the money toward the Nodak Insurance Company Football Performance Complex.
It will be a year-round training facility for athletes in football and other outdoor sports.
Pending approval by the State Board of Higher Education and the state legislature, the funds will enable NDSU to finish the project, which has a total estimated cost of $50 million.
