A 32-year old woman is recovering from injuries after a beet truck accident in Crookston Friday night. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s office Barbara Velasquez became pinned between the truck and a beet piler when the vehicle was being backed up. Velasquez was transported to Riverview in Crookston and later Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. The 29-year old driver of the truck was not injured.
